Looped Cobblestones Pattern

This crocheted cowl is constructed in a spiral so that the path created by the assembled “stones” is in an infinite loop. The cobblestones I had in mind while designing this cowl were from a city I’d moved away from, and when I went back to visit, I found myself walking the same steps I’d taken in the past. The contrast color makes an infinite loop around the cowl twice, symbolizing the return to old familiar streets.
